- The fifth edition of the Khelo India University Games (KIUG) will begin in Rajasthan on November 24.
- The event will span 12 days and be held in seven cities.
- Jaipur, Ajmer, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Kota, and Bharatpur have been selected as host cities.
- More than 5,000 student-athletes from universities across India are expected to participate.
- This national-level competition will feature events in 23 sports disciplines.
- Kho-kho will be included as a non-medal demonstration sport.
- For the first time in the history of KIUG, beach volleyball, canoeing and kayaking, and cycling have been included.
