What Are the New Labor Codes?
Under the new framework, four major labor codes have been implemented:
The Code on Wages, 2019
The Industrial Relations Code, 2020
The Code on Social Security, 2020
The Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020
Through these codes, regulations for workers in both the organized and unorganized sectors have been made more explicit and uniform, with the aim of ensuring the protection of workers' rights and the improvement of workplace conditions.
