Eligibility Criteria for MPPGCL Plant Assistant Recruitment 2025

• For Plant Assistant – Mechanical: High School passed and regular ITI Trade Certificate (SCVT/NCVT) in Machinist/ Fitter/ Welder/ HP Welder/ Mechanic Pump/ Mechanic Vehicle/ Motor Mechanic/ Diesel Mechanic with minimum 65% marks for UR/OBC, 60% for regular employees of successor companies, 55% for SC/ST/EWS/PwD (MP domicile).
• For Plant Assistant – Electrical: High School passed and regular ITI Trade Certificate (SCVT/NCVT) in Electrician/ Wireman/ Electronics/ Instrumentation with minimum 65% marks for UR/OBC, 60% for regular employees of successor companies, 55% for SC/ST/EWS/PwD (MP domicile).

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years
• Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/EWS (MP domicile): 5 years
• Maximum age after all relaxations: 45 years

Application Fee

• Unreserved (UR): Rs. 1200/-
• SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwD/EWS (MP Domicile): Rs. 600/-

Salary/Stipend

• Pay Scale: Rs. 25300-80500
• Training Period: 9 months
• During training, stipend as per rules.
• After training, regular pay in the scale.

• Selection based on marks obtained in Computer Based Test (CBT).
• CBT will be of 100 marks with multiple choice questions.
