  • He is a Category 'A' qualified Flying Instructor with over 4,500 hours of flying experience.
  • He has undergone training at the Defence Services Staff College and is also a graduate of the National Defence College.
  • He has served as the Air Officer Commanding in Jammu and Kashmir.
  • He has also served as the Air Commodore in charge of Personnel Officers at Air Headquarters.
