• DRDO has successfully tested the third-generation Man-Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile (MPATGM).

• This missile follows a fire-and-forget guidance system and is equipped with top-attack capability.

• The test was conducted on a moving target at the KK Range in Ahilya Nagar, Maharashtra.

• The MPATGM has been developed entirely with indigenous technology.

• It uses an imaging infrared homing seeker for target detection.

• The missile is equipped with a dual warhead to penetrate armored protection and features a fully electric control system.
