Vijay Hazare Trophy title

• Vidarbha secured their maiden Vijay Hazare Trophy (2025-26) title with a 38-run victory over Saurashtra at the BCCI Centre of Excellence.

• Thanks to a century by Atharva Taide, Vidarbha posted a formidable target of 318 runs.

• Despite a strong performance from their middle order, Saurashtra were bowled out for 279 runs.

• In the final, Atharva Taide scored 128 runs, registering his first century of the tournament.

• The Vijay Hazare Trophy, also known as the Ranji One Day Trophy, was first held in 2002-03.

• Tamil Nadu and Karnataka are the most successful teams, having won the title five times each.
