- Union Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav said that the number of live cubs born in India has increased to 27.
- This is the ninth successful breeding of cheetahs on Indian soil.
- Gamini has become a mother for the second time in India.
- This birth comes three years after the cheetahs were brought from South Africa.
