Khelo India Tribal Games,2026

• The inaugural edition of the Khelo India Tribal Games will be held from March 25 to April 6, 2026.

• The first edition will be hosted in Chhattisgarh. The games will take place across three cities within the state.

• The host venues are Raipur, Jagdalpur, and Surguja.

• The competition will feature seven medal-eligible sports. These include athletics, football, hockey, weightlifting, archery, swimming, and wrestling.

• Two additional sports—Mallakhamb and Kabaddi—will also be showcased as demonstration events.

• The objective of these games is to enhance sporting opportunities for tribal youth. Mansukh Mandaviya stated that this initiative is part of a broader effort to expand opportunities for young athletes.

• The logo, theme song, and mascot for the games were launched on December 23.

• The aim is to integrate tribal athletes into the national sports ecosystem.
