- The proposed new "Namo Bharat" corridor between Delhi and Noida is being hailed as one of the largest high-speed connectivity projects in the NCR.
- Its objective is to connect Gurugram, Faridabad, Noida, and Greater Noida via a rapid rail network.
- The total proposed length is approximately 61–64 km.
- The maximum speed of the train will be approximately 160 km/h.
- The journey from Gurugram to Noida will be completed in approximately 38–40 minutes.
- The estimated cost of the project is reported to be around ₹15,000 crore.
- This corridor will extend to:
- Gurugram (IFFCO Chowk)
- Faridabad
- Noida Sector 142/168
- Greater Noida
- Surajpur
- Relief from Delhi's heavy traffic congestion.
- Time savings for lakhs of daily office-goers.
- Direct connectivity between the IT and industrial hubs of Noida, Gurugram, and Faridabad.
- Improved connectivity to the Noida International Airport (Jewar Airport) in the future.
- The Haryana government has approved the final alignment of the corridor, and the NCRTC is proceeding with work on the DPR (Detailed Project Report). The target for completing the project has been set for 2031.
