Global Skills Challenge Australia 2026

• The Indian team delivered an outstanding performance at the Global Skills Challenge 2026, held in Australia from June 23 to 29, 2026, securing a total of five medals.

• By winning three gold, one silver, and one bronze medal, India impressively showcased its skill capabilities and young talent on the international stage.

• This competition was organized as a preparatory event for the 48th WorldSkills Competition scheduled to take place in Shanghai in 2026.

• Among the Indian participants, Pawan Bhadravathi Suresha from Karnataka won the gold medal in Additive Manufacturing. Mausam Kumar Giri from Bihar secured the gold medal in Cloud Computing, while Vishnupriya Sunil from Delhi clinched the gold medal in the Health and Social Care category.

• Harsh Ramesh Pawar from Maharashtra won the silver medal in 3D Digital Game Art, and Muskan from Haryana secured the bronze medal in the Painting and Decorating competition.

• These achievements underscored the exceptional proficiency of Indian youth across various technical and vocational fields and highlighted their strong participation in the global competitive arena.
