• This achievement reflects the growing awareness regarding solar energy within the state, as well as robust public participation and effective administrative implementation.

• The Central Government's 'PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana' (Free Electricity Scheme) aims to provide clean and affordable energy by encouraging the installation of solar power plants on residential rooftops.

• Under the "Month of Solar" campaign conducted in May 2026, people were encouraged to adopt rooftop solar systems.

• The campaign placed special emphasis on simplifying the application process, accelerating the installation of solar plants, and ensuring the effective completion of inspection tasks by distribution companies.
