  • He is recognized as a specialist officer in Gunnery and Missile Systems and has served in various operational, strategic, and administrative capacities within the Navy.
  • Throughout his illustrious career, he has commanded several frontline warships, including INS Vibhuti, INS Nashak, INS Kuthar, and INS Sahyadri.
  • Additionally, he has held significant responsibilities at the Naval Headquarters and the Integrated Defence Staff.
  • He has also served in key appointments such as the Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Policy & Plans) and the Commander of the Eastern Fleet.
  • In these roles, he made significant contributions toward strengthening the Indian Navy's strategic readiness, operational efficiency, and long-term planning.
