- L&T has secured a major order worth ₹10,000 crore to ₹15,000 crore for AI infrastructure in India.
- This is considered one of the country's largest single-cluster AI infrastructure projects to date.
- The project will be executed through L&T’s AI unit, LTN Compute, and its digital infrastructure arm, Vyoma.ai.
- Under the project, approximately 10,000 NVIDIA B300 GPUs will be deployed to support large-scale AI models, scientific computing, and other high-performance computing tasks.
- This AI factory will be established at the Vyoma.ai data center campus in Chennai.
- There are plans to develop this campus into a gigawatt-scale data center hub in the future.
- The capacity for the first phase is set at approximately 250 megawatts, with a power infrastructure readiness of 150 MVA.
- This project marks a significant step towards the development of large-scale digital infrastructure and expanding AI computing capabilities in India.
