Harmanpreet Singh

  • Indian men’s hockey team captain Harmanpreet Singh has set a new milestone by reaching the 250-goal mark in international hockey.
  • He achieved this feat on November 5, 2026, during the Asian Champions Trophy semi-final match against South Korea in Mohali.
  • Delivering an outstanding performance, India defeated South Korea 8–1 and secured their spot in the final.
  • In the ninth minute of the match, Harmanpreet converted a penalty corner into a goal, marking his 250th international goal.
  • With this achievement, he has become only the second Indian male hockey player to score 250 goals at the international level. He is surpassed only by the legendary hockey player Dhyan Chand, who holds a record of 570 goals.
