- The 9th joint military exercise Lamitye- 2022 between the Indian Army and Seychelles Defense Forces (SDF) is being conducted at Seychelles Defense Academy (SDA), Seychelles from 22 March to 31 March 22.
- An infantry platoon each from both the Indian Army and the Seychelles Defense Force will participate in the exercise with the company headquarters.
- The objective of this exercise is to share experiences gained during various operations against enemy forces in semi-urban environment and enhance capability to undertake joint operations.
- This exercise will last for a total of 10 days.
