- On April 13, 2022, Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu honored Dr. Bhushan Kumar of Chandigarh (individual category) and Sahyog Kushtha Yagya Trust Gujarat (institutional category) with the International Gandhi Award-2021 for Leprosy.
