• India won the bronze medal by defeating Japan 1-0 in the Asia Cup 2022 held in Jakarta, Indonesia.

• Japan had seven penalty corners while India had just two but India led the circle in figures of 11-10.

• India were down 10 men in the final minute of the match but they managed to win their second bronze medal in the Asia Cup.
