New Chairman Of ONGC

  • Arun Kumar Singh will be appointed as the next chairman of ONGC.
  • He retired from BPCL last month after attaining the age of superannuation.
  • This will be the first time that a person above the age of 60 will hold the top PSU board level post.
  • A search-cum-selection committee constituted by the Oil Ministry selected Singh.
  • Singh will lead ONGC for three years.
  • Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) is without a regular CMD from April 2021.
