Abhyas Cope India 2023

  • On 24 April, the bilateral air exercise Cope India 2023 between the Indian Air Force (IAF) and the United States Air Force (USAF) concluded.
  • Japan was the observer country of the exercise.
  • The main objective of the exercise is to enhance interoperability between the air forces of both the countries.
  • The objective of the exercise is to strengthen the spirit of camaraderie among the air warriors.
  • The exercise was conducted at Air Force Stations Kalaikunda, Panagarh and Agra.
  • Frontline aircraft of the Indian Air Force such as Rafale, Tejas, Su-30MKI, Jaguar, C-17 and C-130 participated in the exercise.
  • F-15 'Strike Eagle' fighter jets, C-130, MC-130J, C-17 and B1B strategic bombers of the USAF participated in the exercise.
