- Exercise SLINEX-2023, the 10th edition of the annual India-Sri Lanka bilateral maritime exercise, is being held in Colombo from April 3.
- This is being done in 2 phases of three days each. The two phases are the port phase and the sea phase.
- INS Kiltan and INS Savitri are representing the Indian Navy. SLNS Vijayabahu and SLNS Samudra are representing the Sri Lanka Navy.
- Chetak helicopters and Dornier Maritime Patrol aircraft of the Indian Navy, along with Dornier and BEL 412 helicopters of the Sri Lanka Air Force will also participate in the exercise.
- Special forces of both the navies will also participate in the exercise.
