- The missile system successfully achieved its firing test objectives in various scenarios.
- This missile system can destroy air threats with missiles with a speed range of 2 to 2.5 Mach. It consists of a twin-turret launch platform.
- ‘SAMAR’ air defense system has been developed by 7 BRD. It can launch two missiles in single and salvo mode.
- India also demonstrated the lethality of the Akash surface-to-air (SAM) weapon system during Exercise Astrashakti 2023.
