- In his inaugural address, Sheikh Mishaal pledged to protect the country and its people while stressing his commitment to adhering to constitutional principles and fighting corruption.
- They swore to respect the Constitution and the laws of the Kingdom, to protect the freedom, interests and properties of the people, and to ensure the independence and territorial integrity of Kuwait.
