- The Indian Air Force will conduct the Vayu Shakti 2024 exercise in Jaisalmer on February 17.

- Indian Air Force will conduct mega exercise Vayu Shakti 2024 at Pokhran Range in Jaisalmer.
- More than 100 aircraft and helicopters will participate in this exercise.
- A number of indigenously manufactured and designed aircraft and helicopters like Tejas, Prachanda and Dhruv will participate in this exercise.
- Air-to-air and surface-to-air missile systems including MICA, R-73, Samar and Akash will showcase their lethality.
- The second mega exercise 'Gagan Shakti' will also be conducted. Rafale fighter aircraft and S-400 air defense system will participate in this exercise.
- Gaganshakti exercise is conducted once in five years.
- Tarang Shakti will be the first multinational exercise to be conducted in India.
