“Navratna” status given to National Fertilizers Limited

• The Department of Public Enterprises has granted "Navratna" status to National Fertilizers Limited.

• For the December quarter, National Fertilizers Ltd's consolidated net profit stood at ₹150.9 crore, a decline of 73%.

• Revenue fell 25.2% to ₹7,581 crore in the December quarter.

• 'Navratna' is a group of top performing Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs). Considering its performance, it gets more autonomy and financial powers from the Centre.
