North India's first green hydrogen plant

  • Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu laid the foundation stone of North India's first 1 MW green hydrogen plant at Dabhota in Himachal's Solan district.
  • The project will be developed by Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL) in collaboration with Oil India Limited.
  • It will be set up at a cost of Rs 9.04 crore.
  • Himachal Pradesh is committed to become India's first green energy state by March 2026.
