USA withdraws its membership from the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC)

• President Donald Trump signed an executive order for US withdrawal from the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC).

• The US will not send any funds to the UN agency for Palestinian refugees.

• According to the executive order, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has consistently shown itself to be anti-Semitic and anti-Israel.

• The US government alleged that UNRWA facilities have been used by Hamas and other terrorist groups to store weapons and build tunnels.
