- Stealth frigate INS ‘Tavsya’ commissioned by Indian Navy at Goa Shipyard.
- The Krivak-class stealth frigates have been contracted from Russia and built at Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL).
- The first of the two frigates, Triput, was launched at GSL in July last year.
- Triput and Tavsya have a large percentage of indigenous equipment, weapons and sensors.
- As per the schedule, GSL is set to deliver the first ship to the Indian Navy in 2026 and the second ship six months later.
