12th Formation Day of Telangana

• Telangana celebrated its 12th foundation day on 2 June 2025.

• Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy hoisted the tricolour at an official function held at the Secunderabad Parade Ground.

• Telangana was formed on 2 June 2014 and the day is celebrated as ‘Telangana Day’ or ‘Telangana Formation Day’.

• Telangana was formed by separating ten districts of Andhra Pradesh.

• Telangana was formed as the 29th state of the country through the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act.
