Multinational Military Exercise “Khan Quest”

• On June 11, 2025, Indian Army contingent arrived in Ulaanbaatar to participate in the multinational military exercise “Khaan Quest” being held in Mongolia.

• This year’s edition of the exercise will be held from June 14 to 28 and will involve armies from multiple countries.

• The previous edition of Khaan Quest was held in Mongolia from July 27 to August 9, 2024.

• The event, which was initially started in 2003 as a bilateral effort between the US and Mongolia, became a global peacekeeping initiative in 2006.

• This year is the 22nd edition of the annual exercise.
