SSC CGL Vacancy 2025
The number of vacancies to be filled through the SSC CGL Recruitment 2025 has been notified with the release of an official SSC CGL Recruitment 2025 notification. As announced, 14582 vacancies will be filled this year. .
SSC CGL 2025 Eligibility
Not everyone can appear in the SSC CGL Exam, as the commission has set parameters for minimum eligibility criteria, including educational qualifications, age limit, and nationality. As per this year’s notification, the SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria are as follows-
Education Qualification
- For Junior Statistical Officer (JSO)- Bachelor’s Degree from any recognised University with a minimum 60% in Mathematics in Class 12th
or in any discipline with Statistics as one of the subjects in graduation. - For Statistical Investigator Grade-II- Graduation Degree from any recognised University with Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics as a compulsory or Elective Subject.
- For Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC)- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute with a minimum of one year of research experience in any recognized university or recognized Research Institution.
- For remaining posts- Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University.
Age Limit (as on 01/08/2025)

SSC CGL Recruitment 2025 Online Form
The registration process for the SSC CGL 2025 exam will be conducted in online mode only from 9th June 2025 onwards. All eligible candidates can start with SSC One-Time Registration OTR and fill out the SSC CGL online application form by visiting the official website www.ssc.gov.in till to 4th July 2025. SSC CGL Application Fee 2025
The candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- while submitting their SSC CGL Application Form online at www.ssc.gov.in. Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, and ESM are eligible for reservation and exempted from the application fee payment. The application fee has to be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or RuPay Debit cards only.
SSC CGL Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
SSC conducts a two-tier SSC CGL selection process to shortlist candidates for various Group B and C posts under the SSC CGL 2025.
Stage 1 Tier-I: Computer-Based Examination (Qualifying in nature).
Stage 2 Tier-II: Paper I (Compulsory for all posts), Paper-II for candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.
