Indian Arts Festival

  • On November 21, President Draupadi Murmu will formally inaugurate the second Indian Arts Festival at Rashtrapati Nilayam in Bolaram.
  • The 10-day festival will showcase the traditions of Western India in Hyderabad, with Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Goa, and the Union Territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu participating.
  • The first edition attracted over 100,000 visitors, and this year's attendance is expected to reach nearly 150,000.
  • The Arts Festival will be a platform for social, cultural, craft, and culinary events, in addition to literature, and visitors will be able to see a wide range of traditional handlooms, handicrafts, and regional products.
  • Visitors can enjoy key attractions such as Kutch Bandhani from Gujarat, Kota Doria sarees and Pattu cotton weaving from Rajasthan, Kolhapuri chappals and Paithani sarees from Maharashtra, and Kumbi sarees from Goa.
