Global Teacher Prize 2026

  • Dubai's Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum presented her with the award.
  • Naghi was honored for transforming neglected walls into educational murals.
  • These murals teach reading, writing, and mathematics, and also incorporate public health and environmental awareness.
  • She has helped more than one million children receive formal education over the past 20 years. She uses art as a tool for learning.
  • Naghi was selected from over 5,000 nominations received from 139 countries.
  • Through the Rubal Naghi Art Foundation, she has established more than 800 educational centers operating across India.
