‘Project Zero’ Campaign Launched in Kerala

• On May 26, 2026, the Government of Kerala launched "Project Zero" with the objective of enhancing administrative transparency and curbing corruption.

• This statewide campaign focuses on curbing bribery, combating cybercrime, strengthening vigilance mechanisms, and making the grievance redressal system more effective.

• The initiative was launched by Kerala's Home Minister, Ramesh Chennithala.

• Through Project Zero, the government aims to control corruption at every level of administration.

• Under this initiative, emphasis will be placed on encouraging public participation, developing technology-based surveillance systems, and ensuring the effective investigation of corruption-related cases.

• Additionally, there are plans to update the state's Vigilance Manual in accordance with modern requirements, with the aim of bringing greater transparency and efficiency to administrative and investigative processes.
