- Aero India 2027, India's premier aerospace and defense exhibition, will be held next year from February 8 to 12 at the Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru.
- The Ministry of Defence has announced the dates for the 16th edition. The primary responsibility for organizing the event has been entrusted to the Department of Defence Production.
- The upcoming edition of Aero India will serve as a significant platform, showcasing India's growing defense manufacturing capabilities while also providing opportunities for international defense companies and partner nations.
- The event will focus on fostering technical collaboration, trade, and global partnerships within the defense sector.
- A total of nine hangars—designated 'A' through 'I'—will be prepared at the Yelahanka Air Force Station for the exhibition. Hangars A and B will be allocated to the Indian Air Force and the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
- The remaining hangars will facilitate foreign exhibitors and defense companies in showcasing their products, technologies, and capabilities, as well as conducting business activities.
- Online registration and exhibition space booking for foreign companies and exhibitors will commence on September 3, 2026, via the official Aero India web portal.
- This five-day event will be organized along the lines of major international defense trade fairs.
